All are welcome to come see our staff-created ofrenda (altar) to celebrate Día de los Muertos, Monday, Oct. 23 to Friday, Nov. 3.
Day of the Dead altars are a way to remember and honor deceased relatives and friends. Altars or ofrendas are set up in homes to welcome home the souls of the dead and are decorated with marigolds, favorite dishes, candles, incense, photographs, and objects of personal use.
Stop by Special Collections anytime Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. We are free and open to the public.
