Student Learning & Engagement Librarian Ping Situ was selected for the highly competitive Overseas Korean Studies Librarian Workshop, which will take place at the National Library of Korea in Seoul, Korea, for a week in October. Situ was one of only 20 librarians selected worldwide for the program, which is meant to expand interest and foundation for Korean Studies worldwide. 

As part of her recommendation, Albert Welter, University of Arizona Head of the Department of East Asian Studies, described Ping as a “consummate professional, ever ready to help, and a gateway to often invaluable resources through which our research is conducted.”
