Adalberto & Ana Guerrero Student Space staff honored Niko Sanchez, CATalyst Studios Digital Design and Fabrication Specialist, with the Guerrero Aguila Award during their Mes de la Cultura celebration in early October.

The award announcement included: "Niko has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to our Latinx/e students and has played a vital role in advancing our mission of fostering a strong sense of belonging on campus."

The student space is one of six student spaces within the U of A Student Culture & Engagement Hub. It has served students from all backgrounds for more than 40 years. Today, it continues to support students in reaching academic and personal success by fostering a sense of belonging on campus and serving as an essential resource for Latinx/e students. All resources and events are free and open to all students.
