Senior Information Resources Officer Michael Brewer was just appointed to the HathiTrust Program Steering Committee. HathiTrust is a not-for-profit collaborative of academic and research libraries, including University of Arizona Libraries, preserving more than 18 million digitized items in the HathiTrust Digital Library. 

Brewer will serve a three-year term beginning July 2025. The HathiTrust Program Steering Committee (PSC) advises the Board of Governors, offers a member perspective, and helps shape initiatives and strategies for Board discussion and decision-making. PSC also initiates advisory and working groups to support HathiTrust’s preservation and access mission.
