Do you know everything thing you need to know?
Now available: four short online tutorials about ChatGPT & Generative AI
Topics include:
- The technology behind ChatGPT
- How does ChatGPT aim to prevent harmful use?
- What is generative AI?
- Using ChatGPT effectively
These are designed for anyone new to ChatGPT, including instructors, students, and staff. Total time to complete all four is about 35-40 minutes. Tutorials include short videos (3 minutes or less) followed by a few quiz questions for self-study.
Student guide also available
A team of librarians and library staff recently created the Student Guide to ChatGPT and AI Literacy in the Age of ChatGPT for instructors with helpful resources.
The student guide covers:
- how to use ChatGPT effectively and ethically
- the importance of fact-checking
- information about other large language models beyond ChatGPT
The instructors guide includes:
- resources about teaching ideas and creating classroom policies
- how the library can help
- AI workshops and recordings
- how to learn more about the underlying technology
