Welcome back to campus!

Major changes are afoot at the Main and Albert B. Weaver Science-Engineering Libraries as we undergo renovations for the Student Success District. Here's what you should know when you visit the Libraries this fall.

Main Library entrance

  1. Main Library and Weaver Library are open regular hours during renovations. Construction work won't happen after 4 p.m. Monday-Friday or on weekends.

  2. Main Library will be completed by spring 2020, and the Weaver Library will be finished next summer.

  3. The Health Sciences Library and the Fine Arts Library are open, and you can enjoy the free "MOON" exhibit in Special Collections through December 20.

  4. Get to the computers (for UA affiliates), group study rooms, and Room 112 on the 1st floor of Main Library by using the stairs or elevator and going through the new temporary corridor. You can also go downstairs or use the elevator to the Integrated Learning Center (ILC) courtyard and enter the library through the glass doors.

  5. Borrow laptops and other technology in the Weaver Library, Room 200S, the Fine Arts Library, and the Health Sciences Library. Smaller items like chargers/cords, headphones, and calculators are available at the Main Library.

  6. Printers and scanners are available at our libraries.

  7. Quiet study rooms are available on the Main Library's 3rd floor and can be reserved online. We also have quiet study rooms at the Weaver Library, the Fine Arts Library, and the Health Sciences Library. If you're at Main Library and need to borrow some noise-canceling headphones or want free earplugs, just let us know at the Ask Us desk.

  8. Pick up hold items from the hold shelf in the Main Library's 2nd floor lobby.

  9. The public computers and computer cards are now on the 2nd floor of the Weaver Library.
