Where

The Protestant Reformation was so successful as it was because they were able to utilize the latest communication technology, the printing press. Not only did they disseminate the newly translated bible (Luther) all over Germany, they also launched powerful propaganda attacks against their Catholic enemies. While the Protestant Reformation must certainly be viewed from a theological perspective, we can also comprehend it in light of the massive campaign to utilize broadsheets for their political purposes. Some of the most dramatic examples of those broadsheets will illuminate this central point.
