Senator DeConcini shares his memories and reflections for the opening of “Presidential Letters: A Selection from the Dennis DeConcini Papers,” a special exhibit on display through May 2, 2014.
In celebration of Presidents Day, this special exhibit highlights a small selection of presidential letters signed to Senator DeConcini regarding bills passed along with the pen used to sign the bill. It is a tradition for presidents to sign bills and then give the pen to members of Congress or other dignitaries who worked to get the legislation passed.
