Come learn about how libraries have implemented data management support at their institutions. This practical colloquium builds on the previous day’s Arizona Scholarly Data Summit.
University of Arizona Libraries have invited three librarians to talk about their experiences:
-Gail Steinhart, Research Data & Environmental Sciences Librarian from Cornell University, will speak about the training provided to Cornell librarians, as well as discuss their data repository pilot projects
-Sherry Lake, Scientific Data Consultant from University of Virginia, will speak about how the UVA Library has prepared itself for working with researchers and getting librarians up to speed, as well as their process for supporting NSF data management plans
-Marianne Bracke, Associate Professor of Library Science from Purdue University, will speak about what services the Purdue University has developed to support data management
