Putting technology in students’ hands

Loaner laptop program supported by Tubbs Family Foundation.

Graham and Kathleen Tubbs' financial gift helped establish a laptop loaner program at the library in 2006. They were inspired by the dedication of their daughter, a UA student who helped spearhead the program. The Tubbs Family Foundation gift was matched with funds from the University Libraries to create a long lasting program that benefits students across campus.

Today, our technology lending program is one of the largest in the country, giving students access to laptops, tablets, projectors, and digital cameras. Watch this interview with Graham and Kathleen to learn more about why they made a gift to the library and its continued impact.
